I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get a Great meal in a down home envoirment with a small town charm in the staff. The owners have been friends with our family for many years and know they take pride in what they do. The menu items are endless, something for EVERYONE, from breakfast, lunch or dinner. a couple of favorites of mine are the broasted chicken, french onion or chili. and fresh dessert, I sure do miss stopping in for a bite to eat. Miss ya'll... ps. the building use to be the old donut shop and it has lots of memories for me, I use to go there as a kid... in the 70's

All I can say is AWESOME. I went there for the first time this weekend. I read so many things about the Broasted Chicken, so I had to try it. It was probably the best chicken I ever had. Unbelievably juicy on the inside but not greasy on the outside. The portions are great. The French Onion Soup was delicious also. The waitress was very helpful in explaining all the options. The menu is pretty big and I can't wait to go back and try something else. All the dishes that everyone else was eating looked so yummy.

Pricing is GREAT and the food quality is the best, not bland at all. I have never heard bad language in that restaurant.

Not only is the food good, they also have a variety of homemade baked goods for sale, a salad bar, and a backroom you can reserve for private partys! check it out.

My spouse and I stopped there the other week and still talk about the food! Down home cooking - it's hard to find and we love it! I had their baked potato soup (oh my!) and a grilled cheese sandwich. I also had apple pie a la mode. Why not? Every so often a person has to be decadent. The waitress was pleasant and helpful; but frankly, she could have been the wicked witch of the west and I wouldn't have cared. Great food, just like mother never made but should have - occasionally.

My grandma took me there when I was a kid. Pat and Roger the owners are some of the nices people that you will every meet. People will miss them if they go out.

Service is slow. The food is good except they use instant potatoes for mashed potatoes.

They need to stop messing with the Chili receipe. Salad bar is very good but the location of the bar is hard to move around. This is a homestyle spot for the most part. You will never go wrong if you order the broasted chicken it is the best in the county.

Pricing is to High for the quality of the food. Somethings taste like it came right out of a can, for instant Gravies, very bland.
Service slow. Foul Language can be heard from Management. We go there only when everything else in town is full.
