The service is excellent. The variety of food is great. Some meals are more exciting than others. I recommend the crispy beef and the asparagus and straw mushroom stirfry with chicken. The latter is on the back cover of the menu. Generally, you don't find this quality, selection, and service in a small town shopping center and, I think, it is better than most Chinese restaurants in Frederick.

I've eaten Chinese all over the country. Chong Yet Yin does Szechuan that is too good for the small town they are in. You who live there are lucky to have such cuisine.

More than the run of the mill. I\'ve stopped going anywhere else in Mt. Airy for Chinese Food.

We've lived in Mount Airy for over 24 years and have found that, over time, the food at Chong Yet Yins has been inconsistent and undependable. Before 1990, they served, by far, the best Chinese food we've ever had. We were out of the country for five years and when we got back in 1994, while the menu hadn't changed much, the quality of the food had declined. Seriously. Since then, we've found their food to be very inconsistent - sometimes it's good, sometimes it's just okay, and other times, it's very disappointing. I miss the quality and tastiness of the food we used to be able to get there. The Chong Yet Yin of today is not the fine Chinese dining it used to be.

Delicious, authentic cuisine and friendly, efficient service. I particularly like the home style Kung Po Chicken with its rich, spicy, dark sauce. Lunch specials are extremely reasonable with large portions (there are many choices for the main dish and come with soup and egg roll). I have yet to have a meal here that wasn't entirely satisfactory.

I've tried all the Chinese restaurants in Mt Airy and this one is by far the best. I won't go anywhere else.

We always go here for eat in or take out and the food is very good but a little inconsistent. They no longer allow you to substitute fried rice for white rice (not even for an extra charge)! We switched to Big Chef and Wa Wa Woo Wee. Excellent food and for 1 dollar more we get the rice we like. We will continue to use Big Chef.

This place is first rate with affordable prices. The food is always fresh and the staff is excellent. A buffet would be an insult to the integrity and quality of this place.

I'm partial to this place because my son and I always have a great time eating here. The crisy beef is so delicious that I rarely order anything else but the crab fried wonton appetizer is good too. This is my favorite wait staff in town.

The best in Mount Airy. Very clean, and owners are very courteous. Food is excellent, and dine in is great. Atmosphere is nice. Price is good, and portion sizes good as well. Highly recommend!!!

Always a delight to eat here. The food is always hot and delicious. The owners are always pleasant to talk to. Personal favorite is the Seasame Chicken.

The food was really over priced. For $22 dollars I get the same items for $15, in a 5 star restuarant by the white house. And the food really wasn't that great for what it was worth.

A mixed bag...the food is pretty good, though it tends to be overcooked by today's standards; the atmosphere is non-existent because the room is too big and they don't draw many eat-ins; and it's a little high-priced, about a buck or two per entree on average more expensive than similar restaurants. If i'm not eating in, I prefer the Big Chef II as Mt' Airy's best chinese.

This place should go 'all you can eat buffet', they would do a killer business.

I have never had a meal at this establishment that was not of the finest quality, served very curtiously and tasted heavenly. Chong Yet Yin is the finest Chinese food in the area!

We have lived in Mt. Airy for 20 years and tried them all. Chon Yet Yin has the best Chinese food in the area. Owner is always friendly and greets us every time we enter for eat-in or carry out.

Not good at all. Service is slow, food was not good at all , the sauce for sweet and sour chicken was gross was not made right at all. General Tso's chicken was overcooked, will not be returning. I recommend highly The Great Wall of China in Spring Ridge!!!!!!Well worth the drive.

I've worked in D.C. and in the Northern Virginia area for over 20 years and eaten at many excellent Chinese restaurant's. While the atmosphere at Chong Yet Yin's is lacking, the food is amongst the best I've had. I recommend the Chef's Special's especially the Crispy Beef. If you're looking for excellent food at a reasonable price, Chong Yet Yin's is your place.

Great food, pretty good service. Better than most small-town, strip mall places. Definitely the best Chinese food available in Mount Airy.
