I had a most amazing experiance at Firestones recently. My husband and I went out to eat being new to the area hadn't had many recomendations to go on. Walking down Market St., we came across a quaint looking restuarant and went in to eat. We sat at the bar, we're served promtly and going off the recomendation of the bartender had 2 martini's and they were amazing! Our bartenders Kate & Ian gave us increadible service and had us laughing thru our dinner. I would gladly tell anyone I met to go to Firestones and take the bartenders recomendations on anything from food to drink! Go to Firestones and you will not be dissapointed!

Excellent service. Superb food. Stumbled on this place one evening while visiting Frederick a few days ago. Our waiter warned us that they are slow. We were not in a rush. The timeliness of service and drink delivery was perfect while we waited. I was never wondering where's my waiter, and never felt he was intrusive. The food far surpassed our expectations. The scallop appetizer was exquisitely prepared. The trout was equal. We've made a similar salmon recipe at home but still considered this excellent. Ambience very relaxed. Price left us feeling very worth it on a comparative basis. Still very impressed and happy with the experience in hindsite a few days later. Have had food and service this good before but rarely at this price point.

Wow, what a shock. We read the reviews and thought we would give it a shot. The food was terriable and the portions were very very small. I would have to say that the service was very good in spite of the terriable food. After dinner our group decided to go to chick filet to fill up. What an experience a $150.00 appetizer and a $20.00 dinner. My advice, try another restaurant.

Excellent beer selection and super friendly staff. The menu may be limited, but what they do, they do well! Love that place!

The 18oz. Dry Aged cowboy steak was the best steak I have ever eaten. Great wine and beer selection. If you are looking for top notch steaks this is the place to go!

Excellent choice to dine for very good food!
Deserts, excellent! Service, good and pricing
is high but in the end we love it!
The restaurant has lots of charm, small, intimate and cozy. Sitting by the window and viewing Old Towne Main Street is wonderful!!!
Our favorite seat in the house!

The carpaccio was amazing. The service was great. We had a great meal!

I thought it was great. The building alone is worth the trip. It has it's own character, fabulous wine and is a good-old fashioned real restaurant with their own chef. Can't stand the chains out there. Our server was fun, knowledgeable and quirky!

I had the Marinated Grilled Steak and Caramelized Onion Salad... on mesclun greens with tomato, shaved pecorino and Mandarin soy vinaigrette. Very yummy if you like the asian dressing. Also had fried green tomatoes because I'd never had them before but I don't think I'll have them again. Other than that, love the atmosphere. My friends had the surf and turf and thoroughly enjoyed it. Kind of pricey but still good. Also had the crab dip, that was yummy. Great selection of beer and wine.

I've always loved the atmosphere at Firestone's... very cool downtown building. The drinks are great and the wine's not bad, but every time I've eaten there, the food hasn't be "hot", only "warm", and the service has been mediocre at best.

This restaurant came highly recommended but failed to impress me. Lunch choices are very limited, the food is average and overpriced. Service is slow. Would not recommend for lunch.

I felt that this place was very expensive for the quality of food. Plus I don't feel that the food was anything special.

This is one of the best in the area. Steak, fish and crabmeat are the best! The cookie dessert sampler - I dream about them!
