Recently went for Fredericks Magazine Coupon 2 4 1. Hadn't been in quite some time. Had fabulous service and the oyster selection was superb! They have definately done an overhaul on remodeling and redecorating. We will go back again to try some of their other interesting appetizers.

More of a bar for 20somethings that a seafood restaurant. Used to have a lot of fresh seafood but now it's just bar food. Back room smells like stale beer and restroom is disgusting. Too bad, it used to be a really good place to eat.

Several years ago, I spent most Friday and Saturday nites in the Bogey room, watching the fish behind the bar and listening to the bands. the young ladies woking the bar were very efficient and cordial. "Munchies"menu very tasty and reasonably priced. Small but cozy. Good place to relax and enjoy a brew or two.

Went on the eve of 9-11-09.The fried clam appetizer was 6.99 and was a small portion, soda was 2.99,steaks were 17.99 and 18.99 and was the same quality as Waffle House. The steaks had no flavor and the only similarity to a New York Strip was that it was made of meat.Griffs Landing is expensive with low quality food and portions but the atmosphere was nice but you cant eat that.I am lucky I had a coupon for the meal.I will not go back.

The last time I went to Griff's there was a great band called Henry And The Bombs. Hopefully they'll be back soon.
    The food was also great.

We went there to hear a band. We sat outside to start and had a wonderful tuna appetizer. The cocnut fried shrimp were amazing and the cocktails were very tropical. We like to go here. It feels like were in Key West.

Griff's is wonderful!!! Service is just okay but the amazing food makes up for it. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Frederick and now that I've moved out of the area, I make a point to always head to Griff's for a meal when I'm in town visiting....delicious!!!!

The place is dirty, and the wall are caked with smoke. The beer is barely cool ( not cold ). This use to be a great place to go. But this past year it going down hill. Needs a face lift.

Each time I come from the UK to see my family in Frederick, Griffs is the first restaurant we go to. I've been going there for over 10 years now. Love the tavern atmosphere and the non-pretentiousness of the place. Welcoming, good with kids, great fresh seafood, comfortable, and a good menu. This isn't some swanky restaurant but everything about it just feels so wholesome. Mozzarella sticks and a bucket of steamed Alaskan crab legs please. Yum!

Nice hometown atmosphere. The service is usually good. The food is usually good too, although once or twice I have been disappointed. A great place to unwind with live music on the weekends.

My husband and I went to Griff's Landing to see and hear Ted Garber play. We had a wonderful dinner of crab cakes, and a three cheese pasta with a tomato crab sauce. Delicious. We also had some local beers, and the service was fantastic. We would most certainly go back!

The restaurant seems dark and dingy. The appetizers were cold and they still charge for soda refills.

Many of the bands are great local bands. The food is great and the service is quick and friendly. The bar side is small but comfortable. We go there about twice a month, depending on the band, and always seem to enjoy ourselves.

Great new menu!! Fresh seafood. Service is always good. Rare Tuna steaks are awesome. There is a whole new look to the dining room and the bar side. Looks like redecorated.

The service there is outstanding and very quick. The food is very consistent each time I go there. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I was introduced to Griff's by a co-worker last year and since have taken everyone from family members and friends to other co-workers. The atmosphere is so comfortable that I go there alone to eat sometimes. They have some great bands come in Friday nights to play and it isn't too loud for the dinning side of the restaurant. I can’t say enough good about the place.

Griff's Landing is overpriced and undervalued. The food was barely ok but the ambience was that of a tavern. At these prices, you expect much more.

I had a wonderful meal here. Service was excellent. My server was amazing. Would defininatly return. Try the crab dip, it's to die for. All in all a great restuaunt. Look for a tall blond girl. She is the best, can't remember her name though!

Dreadful food, fair service. My salad was wilted and dry. The main dish was salty and overcooked. I have visited a couple of times in the hopes it would get better. I didn't.

This place has excellent crab cakes and crab balls- lots of meat no filler! They have a wide variety seafood, and other foods as well. Nice atmosphere and good service.
