We go every weekend for the dog treats and the best fresh old fashioned powdered white cream filled donuts that you can't find just anywhere anymore...we typically leave with more things...go in early for a full selection.

Large variety of delicious baked goods makes it hard to make up my mind. My favorites are the german chocolate cake and the old fashion donuts. Very friendly people makes it a pleasure to stop by.

If you like chocolate try their chocolate mousse cakes, it's like a happy death by chocolate :-)

I commuted past the bakery for many years from VA to my job north of Frederick. Always stopped by to stock up on weekend treats. Love the doughnuts, danish, crumb cakes...love it all!! Now I live 200 miles away, but anytime I am in the area, I bring coolers and load up...they even did a custom order of their wonderful raspberry/cream cheese turnovers...24 in one order!! Of course, everyone I know sends a list with me to fill their orders as well...

Adorable little bakery has that hometown charm. The cases are packed full of danish, cookies, pies, crumbcakes and more. Their doughnuts are so awesome ,that on weekends there is a traffic jam in the parking lot just trying to get to them. I understand the new owners have hired the pastry chef formerly of Proof Bakery and The Tasting Room. Check out the mousse hearts.

I live in Hagerstown and am willing to drive to Jefferson Pastry Shoppe for the cream horns. They are incredible -- the best I've ever eaten! All the other baked good so far have been excellent. (but, ohhhh, the cream horns...)

I love the peanut butter filled donuts...I send my husband out at least once a week to pick them up for me. Everyone is always very friendly and even gives my daughter a complimentary cookie every time...can't say that for other places.

As a return customer, the new owner is marvelous, has carried on the good work of the previous owner and taken it up several notches. Best donuts I've had in years, better than Krispy Kreme. Very tasty pies and apple crumb cake. Would like to see more bread varieties but she is increasing their inventory and selection all the time. Wonderful place!

We had the most fabulously delicious wedding cake, made by the Jefferson Pastry Shoppe!! Donna did a wonderful job and the price was unbeatable! They also have the best donuts around.

Amazing Cakes! I ordered a cake for a baby shower recently and the baker offered to decorate it based on artwork from the invitation. It was truly astonishing, creative and lovely. I was thrilled to show the various "foodies" from DC just how sophisticated my little country bakery is. Also, incredibly delicious and unbelievably affordable!

The Jefferson Pastry Shoppe is like an old time bakery in the heart of Jefferson, MD. Our family loves their desserts and hasnt been disappointed once.I highly recommend it.

We love the pastries here. I could live on the pound cake. If you are fond of eclairs, you'll love the ones made here. Not only is the filling rich and tasty, but the icing is genuinely chocolaty. Dunkin Donuts eclairs are like a tap water version of this fine wine of pastry.
