I love this place. Their selection of produce and meat is certainly smaller than most grocery stores, but you know you're getting good quality items.
Their cheeses and dairy are excellent and they serve a nice variety of vegetarian and organic prepared foods. Price-wise they're more expensive than your standard supermarket, but quality food usually is.

I recently started shopping at the Common Market and became a co-op member. I would recommend the place. It is clean, the staff is friendly and everything is easy to find. The food is fresh. I really love the produce section. Everything is so fresh and tastes great. The prices are a little higher but if you become a co-op member, the discounts end up costing no more than Safeway or Giant. I would recommend the place to anyone.

I was amazed at how many local products this store carries. It's refreshing to see a business that truly supports and serves it's community.

I am not impressed by the Common Market these days. Their produce quality is lacking and their prices are high. Service at the deli is horrible... takes too long to be served (or even acknowledged), even though they always seem to be fully staffed

We love the Common Market! It has a nice selection of healthy choices for our family, and a nice eat-in area as well. There is a large variety of bulk items available including spices. And the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Their new location is bright, airy and attractive. Produce section is roomy and has a good variety of seasonal things. Also, some hard to find items. Bulk section is ample and has a good selection. Their cheese and meat selection is very nice as well. Prices are a little high for the public, but if you are a co-op member you get the sale price and also get coupons mailed to you. The salad bar and cafe are great! They also sell a decent variet of ready made foods and lots of unusual beverages. A good place to go for lunch or a take home dinner. Staff is helpful and nice.

It's much too expensive.

The Common Market's new location offers a vast increase in selection, customer satisfaction and staff effectiveness. You've got to try the Cafe also--great selection of hot & cold items, and custom made sandwiches & wraps. + the people are so great--a real community within the community!

The New Common Market is excellent! Tons of variety, the produce is excellent, the fresh cheese selection is superb. They even have fresh meat, seafood, an eat-in cafe and outdoor seating. I don't have to shop anywhere else now!

I drove from WV to shop at the store I found what I needed. I ate lunch at the snackbar, it was delicious. I was surprised that the employees preparing the food were not wearing plastic gloves. The produce prices seem to be much higher than they were before the store moved. Overall my experience was pleasant.

Was excited about this place opening in its new larger location, but ended up leaving empty handed after visiting it. It was made to look like Whole Foods inside, but looks was the extent of it. The produce section was tiny and the inventory in general was fairly low. The prices seemed hugely inflated-- I would rather not spend $6 for a carton of orange juice. Maybe the newly opening My Organic Market will be better, but for now, I will still need to go to Gaithersburg for Whole Foods and Trader Joes when I need such items.

I have been totally impressed with the Common Market. I have not seen fresher, lovlier produce anywhere. I travel from Winchester, VA to shop at the Common Market. The new store is beautiful.

Was hoping for so much better. Limp and wilted produce, banged up fruit and a meager selection of overpriced organic staples? Sigh. Where is the fresh market or co-op I REALLY need in the Frederick area?

Great place to get organic and hard-to-find products for those with food allergies/intolerances.
