The current owners are producing fantastic barbeque! Back to the quality from several years ago, before all of the "leasing."

Very friendly place, kinda dirty and needs a little fixing up. Food just okay.

This is the place for the best subs in town. I stopped in here and met Sharon and she really did a good job on the subs we had. Very fresh ingredients and a pleasant atmosphere. Will stop their in the future for other items to try.
Another bonus is the prices they have on beer and wine are very cheap!!!!!!

This little place is like going back in time. It reminds me of the place I grew up in Ohio. A little bit of everything. Gas Station, Beer, Wine, Liquor. Who would have known a little Liquor Store would sell such great mouthwatering Steak & Cheese Subs. My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the family-owned down-to-earth people. They were friendly, funny, and very entertaining to talk to. You could tell they were very proud of their accomplishments. Mom and Pop Stores are very hard to come by, and I truly hope anyone visiting the Frederick area takes the time to check out this little jem of a store.

Best BBQ in Frederick County (not that there's too much competition), but if there was, I'm sure Mountaindale would still be at or near the top. I'm usually a fan of pork BBQ, but Mountaindale does a fantastic beef brisket that words can't describe. Like a lot of 'cue joints Mountaindale isn't much to look at from the outside, but where it really counts (taste of the food) this place shines.
