  With having a Southern family, fried chicken is a must. I will tell you that it is very hard to light a candle to granma's recipe. At least thats what I thought. Trouts Market's fried chicken blew me away. The chicken is moist and tender, and the bread is seasoned just right. I was told they cook it every 30 mins. I could see why, i think he said they sold over 400 pieces that. I have returned several times just for the chicken. Every time I try something new, with the chicken of course, and everything is better than before. You must try it....

  I've eaten seafood all over the state of MD and up and down the east coast. Trouts market seasons and prepares seafood better than anyplace I've been. Especially their steamed shrimp. Order steamed shrimp - medium size/medium seasoning and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  Discovered Trout's Market by accident while visiting doctor's office in Woodsboro. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the quality of the prepared food carryout, and the friendly staff. Great homestyle cooking! Have definately recommeded to my friends and would make a special trip from Frederick for lunch/dinner.
