Another generic Starbucks. The coffee isn't anything special, but you pay for the name-brand. I'd rather support local coffee shops which Frederick has many of.

The starbucks especially on the US 40, the ambience is good and whenever I find myself lazy and not wanting to do anything, I go there, take a nice hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and spend useful hours studying sitting in the coffee shop.

I think this is by far the best coffe house i have been to.. ever. Especially the route 40 location. the second you walk in the door, you smell the freshly brewed coffee, and are greeted by endless smiles of the wonderful staff.the atmosphere is relaxing, yet fun. and although the prices are high, you are truly getting what you pay for. At starbucks there is satisfaction in every last drop.

This is great coffee! I love to have a warm and delicious Starbucks coffee to keep me awake all day. The staff is very friendly and timely. It is a little pricy, but I think it is worth it!

Comments on this restaurant? Yes, come to think of it. It has great coffee but, the prices are to high! Other than that main problem, I think it is a very relaxing place. I think if you LOVE coffee you should go there. Caio!

Starbucks is okay but I prefer Panera because you can get yummy soups and sandwiches/breads there in addition to the coffee and pastries. Starbucks also has gotten a lot of heat for really bad environmental practices with their coffee growing, so I avoid them.

I go there every morning and love the coffee. Without my 1/2 caf/decaf my day would definitely not be the same. Thanks to my morning stop I can better make it through my 1.5 hour commute to DC every day. Thank God for the little things. Now when I pound my hand against the dashboard because of traffic, I feel at least a bit more civilized about it with my French Roast in hand.

This is possibly one of the best Starbucks ever, but Starbucks is overpriced for mediocre coffee to begin with, so it is all relative. Friendly, efficient staff.

the coffee is good. it's not the best, but it's good. the prices are about the same as other coffee houses, except little local places generally have lower prices specifically to help combat people's draw for starbucks. so the prices aren't really good nor are they horribly bad. i guess they're slightly bad for the quality though. the atmosphere is okay, but not as good as any of the coffee houses in downtown frederick. it is a very generic place, but at least you can sit outside. they also sell espresso machines n' stuff there but that is ludicrous, as they are definitely overpriced. the people there seem to know how to make decent coffee, i always get a proper crema on my espresso. or at least it seems proper but you can't see through the glasses so it's kind of a hard call. the people are all very hyper because i guess they do too much coffee drinking. they write your name on your cup unless you buy espresso because it's too small of a cup i guess. all in all it's okay if you don't have time to go to a real coffee house. the more i think about it the more i realise how poor the atmosphere actually is. but the restrooms are kept up.

Great coffee and drinks!. Very good environment and a nice place to hang out. Though a little pricey, it is a nice place to go when friends come back from college or you just want to hang out one night.

the coffee is good, but it is very expensive. a good spot to go every once and a while, but the cost will make you not want to go everyday
