  Starbucks are indeed all alike, but thats what I like about them. Consistency. I am addicted, I admit, to their drinks. I've gone to other coffee houses, and the coffee is not the same. Yes, the atmosphere is more friendly, artsy and inviting for one to sit and enjoy the company of their friends, however the coffee varies greatly, and the prices are not any cheaper. If I'm going to pay that much, I might as well get really GOOD coffee, that is consistently good. I go to Starbucks for their coffee, but the staff there is always wonderful and will help make your drink to fir you.

  Well, it's Starbucks...my problem with Starbucks is that quality varies too much...it better be perfect EVERY time for the money charged.

  Well I love Starbucks to death. Since I arrived in the States from Australia six months ago I have desperately been searching for a coffee house to make me a really decent strong cappuccino. It seems most alleged coffee houses here have no idea about how to make good coffee. Coming from Sydney, where Italian baristas really know their stuff, I suppose I am spoiled. Discovering that I could actually 'coach' the team at Starbucks to make my coffee the way I wanted it, was great.
  
  
  
  I think the staff are very friendly and I love hanging around there. I think the atmosphere is fab. In fact, I think I'd like a job there myself!

  a starbucks is a starbucks, they are all the same. the coffee is pretty good, and the prices are about average, a wee bit higher perhaps. the atmosphere is kind of cold and unforgiving. it's not a coffee house where you feel you deserve coffee and you feel at home, it's a coffee house where you feel you have to get coffee and then it's best enjoyed after liberating yourself from the premises. this is how all starbucks are, and anyone who goes to starbucks regularly and thinks its the best coffee around and its a great place to hangout and junk is foolish and has never been to a real coffee house. but i still would go here if i passed it and felt like coffee. starbucks isn't bad it's just not.. quite right. but everything tastes okay so don't get me wrong there.
