Food was only fair (how can you serve pasta that's still "crunchy"?), same with service. Nothing was truly awful, but this experience gave us zero reasons to go back.

They couldn't control their airconditioning. They wouldn't move us - party of 8. It was so cold it ruined the meal. Those who had jackets had to get them from their cars and wear them while eating. The staff either wouldn't or couldn't turn the fan - which constantly blew very cold air on us - off. There are many good restaurants near by to choose from.

Been twice, both times the service was outstanding and the food was very good.

Great food, great service! The atmosphere is unlike most chains. It seems to have a more authentic vibe, even though it's a chain. A very nice balance, and there's consistency! The lemon sole is incredible! If the sauce is too much, just get it on the side. Our service is usually top notch, and when it's not, it's still better than most other places!

Been here several times, the food has always been very good but they (always!) bring out everything too quick. I had my appetizer for like 2 minutes and our meal came out, big turnoff!

I have had several lunches, one dessert meeting, and a couple of dinners here. Although the service has a couple of times been slow, the food was presented well and was good. The only time I had to complain about a dish, it was handled quickly and well.

The only (somewhat) acceptable thing to come of dining here is an ugly The food is not fresh.

The margaritas have too much mix in them. The waitress forgot about us 1) to refill our drinks, 2) to give us waters. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get served.

We didn't have the best experience at this Macaroni Grill while on vacation. We were told it would be an hour to be seated, after an hour and a half we were told they had issues with seating the size of our party (7 adults and two children) - there were groups of students who had reservations for prom. Then it was offered to split us up, but they weren't going to seat us until both halves could be seated. When we finally were seated after two hours of waiting, our waitress wasn't the most friendly, but that's forgivable as it was probably a busy night. The food was lacking, mine was soaked and looked more like a soup than pasta with sauce and one of the meals ordered was forgotten. We were told it would come right out, but 45 minutes later the waitress came up to say she just placed that meal order in because she had forgotten it. To make amends the manager gave three deserts to the table. But between taking so long to get us in (which didn't make sense to give us an estimate if it was known there were reservations), an unfriendly waitress, and forgetting one of the meals completely. It just wasn't worth it.

They know how to serve bread properly with just olive oil and pepper but the food let a lot to be desired. Typical chain food fare.

Terrible inconsistencies. Went there for lunch, Valentine's day 2006. The service was stunningly inept, the food incompetently prepared, and management wholly indifferent. Had a better experience for dinner - staff adequate, food edible, management out of sight. This restaurrant should focus more on food and less on "flair".

The food is tasty but the waitress seemed to forget to check and see if we needed any more water. The salmon was very undercooked!

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always gotten good food, excellent service and they handled our party of seven (on two different occasions) beautifully. Took a special request on my very first visit there and are always happy to answer questions about the menu. Highly highly highly recommended. A few people I have spoken too said the garlic was very spicy in most of the dishes, but that's how you know it's fresh-so I don't see what the fuss is about. I love it there and will continue to go back (even though they discontinued my favorite dessert-panna cotta). I usually don't have room for dessert anyhow. If you are not opposed to leftovers, you can easily make two meals out of most of their entrees. And the prices are comparable to most other "casual dining" chains. If you like Italian-pass over Olive Garden and go to Romano's. It's worth a trip just for the herb bread and calamari.

The staff was very friendly and upbeat. The food was unbelievably good. We had a party of 9 and everyone's food was hot and delicious. They offer a wide variety of price range for food. Save room for the cheesecake. It's to die for.
