Went there recently for the first time. Doesn't look like much from the outside (located in a mini strip mall across from Home Depot), but the interior is nice with a 3D miniature "village" along one wall--fun to see the tiny details.
I ordered the "camarones a la crema." Five succulent jumbo shrimp in a creamy sauce, black beans, yellow rice, and pico de gallo. Delish!
My daughter and I shared two desserts: the flan was excellent--thicker than most other places. The tres leches cake was excellent, too.
Their children's menu has selections familiar to kids--hot dogs, etc. Check out their web site--apparently they have entertainment at times.
The menu is extensive and varied with Latin American and TexMex dishes. I plan to go again.

Yes, it's a little slow at times, but the Arepas, little sandwiches filled with avocado and chicken salad are just delicious. They also come with a cheese filling and another — pork, I think. If you've ever had them at the new takeout place at the 7th street shopping center, these are much better because they make them fresh for you.

Cafe Latino is back! The Diaz family has reopened. The food is as good as ever and they have added a Tex-Mex section to the menu also.

it is really hard to find arepas on the menu anywhere--I travel from Washington Dc to have them at Cafe Latino. I have never had anything there that wasn't top notch.

Simply amazing. My favorite!!! Only real non texmex place around. Flavorful Authentic Venezuelan (South American) food. There is a total lack of those in this area. This one hit the spot!

Un restaurante excelente.
Un ambiente muy bonito, comida deliciosa con variada de diferente países aunque la comida de Venezuela es muy rica. Recomendó este puesto donde puedes comer en ambiente típico sudamericano y escuchar buena música.

I am Venezuelan and this is definately not the best Venezuelan food! I hope you do not get the wrong impression about my country's food. It is definatley over priced as well.

I have traveled throughout Latin America and Cafe Latino is authentic South American cuisine. A good buy!

I've tried them all, and this is the best Latin (Venezuelan) restaurant in the area.
