good to have a locally owned restaurant in Emmitsburg. proprietor is Italian speaking, so best pizza in area.

I've eaten here a few times and was never really impressed. It's all food service stuff, that is simply assembled and heated in the kitchen. The dough, sauce, pasta are all pre-bought, nothing is made fresh in the restaurant. A few times I've called in an order for pizza I can't help but feel as though they took one of their pre-cooked pies that they sit under the heat lamp to use for slices and added the requested ingredients and re-heated it, instead of making it fresh. The strombolis are flavorless, and the subs nothing to write home about. I would expect more from a place owned by a first-generation Italian immigrant.
