My son passed through Maryland on a Sunday three weeks ago, they were closed. I hope everything is OK. He drove 2 hours out of his way for catfish and was more worried than disappointed. We make a special trip by there about 2 to 3 times a year. The food is that good.

We've been eating at the Cindy Dee for several decades and the food is consistently good...real comfort food. Best fried chicken anywhere...desserts are wonderful. Great value, especially for breakfast. Not the greatest rest rooms, but what the heck, clean anyway. Waitress was overly friendly...could have used less of her "sweetie" and "honey" and a bit more service. We waited very long for our meal on a Tuesday afternoon and this surprised us...not usually a long wait even on a busy Sunday morning. Don't pass up the Cindy Dee...well worth your visit.

BEST FRIED CHICKEN AROUND! Well worth the trip for chicken. Service is always good. Never had a bad meal there. Nice to know there are still places around that beleive in a big portion at a fair price!!

A real local country place. We love their fried chicken, and it doesn't seem to be loaded with MSG like Kentucky Fried & other places. Their sides are so-so, just run-of-the-mill applesauce and canned green beans, and their rolls are not that great. Their desserts are good, and their milk shakes are awesome.
Service is diner style, and fair to good. It's not the absolute cleanest restaurant around, but usually acceptable. Be prepared for crowds on Sunday afternoons.

Best fried chicken in the area. Whenever we go tubing in Harper's Ferry, we always go to Cindy Dee afterwards and order the four piece dinner, plus a bunch of extra chicken to go.
Bonus- they have a sit down Ms. Pacman machine that you can play while you wait for your meal.

I have adopted ties to the Knoxville community and every time I visit we must go to Cindy Dee's several times. The food is great "comfort food"; the best "Wing Dings" in the world according to Mr. Mac. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the facilities are very clean and the desserts are wonderful too. It is worth a visit. I live in Charleston SC and visit the area every time I get a chance.
