Best Diner in Frederick. Always a favorite for the value. Very good food, unbelievable selection, all for a reasonable price. Start with their cup of soup (lemon chicken is the best) and a salad and you'll leave stuffed as the portions are generous. Great deserts and good coffee also.

I love Double T DIner, use to frequent the one on 40, Ellicott City and always had great service, good food and very nice people. Some of the deserts aren't bad either. Wish they would open one in Waynesboro or at least Emmitsburg. WOuld be nice.

We love the diner. Never had to wait for a table, no matter what time we came. Never had to wait for service either. All of their food is super tasty and the menu is HUGE. You wont be disapointed!

We eat here at least once a week. Food is great, service is friendly. Comfortable atmosphere, lots of choices, quick service, huge portions, and they are always happy to bring you a to-go box. Love it!!

Glad that a "Double T" is closer to us. We have always eaten at the one in Baltimore. Food, service, atmosphere are the best. The original (Balt.) has been in existance for more than 40 years. Yes, the portions are large; and we do take home for a couple more meals. Magnificent!!!

This place is wonderful! Very Clean and their food portions are huge! Every time I pick my Momma up from the airport at BWI we have to stop by the Diner to eat. It always takes us a long time to pick something to eat from the menu because there is so much to choose from! My Husband likes how your meal can include your salad, soup AND drink!!! We will continue to go to Double T Diner for many years to come!

Best diner in Frederick hands down. Huge menu, it can be a little much to take it, so it's hard to decide what you want sometimes, but that can be a good thing. Be prepared to take some home, and the best homemade pies/cakes you can find. Prices are great also, you can get breakfast all day also.

on my first visit to the usa, i was taken to a double t for breakfast, all i can say is what a great place, the atmosphere was great , the staff were kind and very pleasent, and the FOOD was amazing,i walked out stuffed and very happy. Thank you for a great experience

I've always found my experiences at the diner excellent. The service and food are usually at the highest standards without being stuffy or uptight. My last experience with our waitress, April was at our usual expectations, great. I would and usually do suggest this restaurant to anyone visiting Frederick.

You can never go wrong with a GOOD Greek Diner!!! Double TT is one of the best. Great selection, large portions, good quality, tastes great, desserts are unbelievable.......I could go on.

We travel through Frederick often on our way to DC and stumbled on the Double T one night by chance when we were starving but just couldn't stand the thought of eating at a chain restaurant. Wow! What a find! We no longer eat anywhere else when we travel to or from DC. The food and service are always amazing. Portions are as huge as everyone else has mentioned. We have never been dissapointed with anything from the menu. The shrimp bisque is amazing, as are the Italian pasta dishes and the fried chicken. For desert - the chocolate pudding is quite nice... if you have any room left to enjoy it.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining out with our neighbors who frequently dine at the Double "T" Diner and it was all they said it was and more. Excellent food, large portions and a menu that is fit for all. I did not sample the dessert bar this visit because I was stuffed from the main course, but there will be another time. We will defiantly be back to visit your restaurant.You should consider bringing a Double "T" to the Upper Marlboro area.

Teh Double T is great I have been going to them for 12 or so years. There are 10 locations. I can tell you from working there that it is one of the cleanest resturants I have ever worked in. They make almost eveything from scratch.
The soups, and salad dressings are all home made. SOem of the dinners are busier than others and certain times esp Sunday morning it is swamped. but worth the wait !

We've been here several times and are always happy with it. But go there knowing what you want because the menu is overwhelming. The gyro platter is delicious and the shrimp bisque is not to be missed. Nearly every meal includes iced tea, soup, salad, entree and dessert (I think only jello or pudding). Skip the jello or pudding and get a slice of pie. Very tasty.
We always go home with leftovers. The portions are massive. And with all the extras before your main course, you will leave stuffed. Prices are very reasonable. Service is hit or miss. They serve breakfast all day.

This is my favorite restaurant in Frederick. I'm always "stuffed" when I leave with, or without a doggie bag and my palate is satisfied by the range of flavors. Food is always GREAT, prices are GREAT. Will eat here again and again!!!!

One of the best "diners" at which I've ever eaten. This diner could be in Manhattan and not be out of place. The food is top-notch. This restaurant has a real cosmopolitan flavor, with wait staff and management from many countries, including Romania, Greece, Czech Republic, and Latin America. Try the egg salad and the potato salad!

Entree portions are only one size, huge. That can be a drawback if you can't take a doggy bag with you. I usually get 3 meals out of an order. Soup, salad, bread and a few bites of entree at the diner, then a lunch and a dinner from the main course leftovers. Iced tea is included with most dinners, which saves the crazy nearly $2 most places charge. Pretty generic greek diner desserts (they look great, but taste generic probably because of no butter or premium ingredients).

My husband and I have been to the diner on two occasions, the first we sat for 10 - 15 minutes watching our waitress walk by and serve other tables. We finally got up to leave and she came over and said "please don't go, I got held up on a food order. I was just getting to you". Too late, I don't think we should ever have to wait 10 minutes for service. She could have at least come by to say 'I'll be with you shortly'. The second occasion was more recent. We sat down, a waitress came right over and took our drink order and immediately brought the drinks and took our food order. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and a steak and cheese sub. I read two sections of the newspaper and still our food was not presented. Someone was actually vacumming the restaurant while we sat there, in the middle of the lunch rush. I saw our waitress eating, while still on the "the floor" and even licking her fingers. Then she went to take an order from another table - no hand washing. We finally got fed up and left. When we got back in the car we realized we had been in there for 45 minutes. We will NEVER go back to that diner again. They could not pay us enough money to go back. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, not to mention unsanitary.

Although I'm not a big fan of diners per se, this place (a chain throughout Maryland) is a standby for my family. Huge menu and you're guaranteed to leave stuffed, as all meals have multiple courses. Service tends to be quite good. Desserts are well above average. Great place for kids. Large variety in the bar and liquor prices are hard to beat. They don't do everything well, but if you stick to their strengths (sandwiches, some seafood, Greek specialties), you're in good shape.

Oh my God! The food is fantastic! The portions are large and the quality the best. The price is reasonable. I always take the dessert home! Sometimes you may have to wait, but the flavors of the dishes make up for it. Go back again and again, so many choices to chose from.
