Beautiful setting, very charming. The food was fabulous! Seriously, everything we had was delicious even though a French restaurant ought to have true French bread (not grocery store baguettes) and better butter than what you get at a diner. That was the only down side to the food. We went on a Saturday night with reservations. Were seated right away, took 45 minutes to get just the bread. Another 30 minutes to get the appetizer after we had complained about the slow service. I didn't hear any excuses from staff/owners that they were short staffed, so I'm assuming service is just horribly slow on main dining nights. Saw a table of 4 walk out after their appetizers because of slow service also. Wouldn't go back just because of the slow service. Food was great though - just not sure it was worth all that wait.

Very nice value. You can choose to have your meal served in the American way or French. The French way is a six course meal (for and extra $10.00). I'll go back for sure.

This is absolutely the most fantastic place. The setting is wonderful - well off the beaten path. My husband and I have eaten here several times. It is never crowded, though I can't understand why. The atmosphere is very romantic, yet comfortable enough to bring a well-behaved child. The staff is always attentive, yet doesn't hover. The food is wonderful. Try the steak "toranados" - it is so tender that you can cut it with your fork. Anything marsala (I've had their pork marsala and their venison marsala, which was a special one night long ago) is wonderful here. The wine choices are good. We bring all of our out-of-town guests here. It is wonderful.
