Be cautious of buying gift cards from this establishment!! They do not list any expiration on the card & when you call to get the balance they explain that the cards expire in 1 year. There is no mention on the card of any type of expiration date & in order to check the balance you have to speak with someone at the restaurant instead of checking an automated system. If the card is over a year old, their system simple shows that the card cannot be found. Therefore, you cannot be sure that there was ever any money put onto the card.

Great meal - went on Friday night, with a phone call before, and the restaurant, from hostess to server, to kitchen staff, worked very hard to prepare a delicious meal. 2 of us have Celiac Disease and cannot eat any form of wheat, barley or rye. The entire family enjoyed their meals, and the 2 with CD confidently ate our meals - delicious!

We have been to Morgans American Grill probably 8 times over the last few years. We have always had excellent food, beautifully presented. I think the atmosphere/decor is great except that sometimes it is noisy. Once when it was busy our service was a little slow but that was the exception and all of our wait staff has been enthusiastic and attentive. It is one of my favorite places to eat in the area.

popped in to have a quick bite and ended up having scollopsW/crab inn a creame sauce, Seared ahi tuna w/ wasabi & asian dipping sauce! Im a chef and was very impressed with every thing,very very rare I ever say. Highly recommed!

We have eaten at Morgan's several times and have always had excellent food and service. Morgan's will always be one of our favorite area restaurants.

If first impressions are the deciding factor, which they are, they blew their shot. The food was average in taste, small in portion, medium-high in price. The deal breaker was the service was very poor. Our server was inattentive and unapologetic. We had to flag our server down to place our order, for every beverage refill, and for the check.

Customer does not come first here. For example, no substitutions. That's a killer for me. Waiters are great though. My food was cold. The bread was brought after I was through with my salad. Etc.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch one Sunday and found the service and food to be excellent. We were casually dressed and were a little concerned that we would experience rude behavior from staff - but that was not the case. Very warm and welcoming.

My wife and I had a really nice experience at Morgan's. She had the Chilean Sea Bass - it was excellent. I had the Pork Tenderloin - it was very good. The service was excellent - attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It was a cold, damp night out and they sat us by the fireplace. My wife loved that! The ambiance was wonderfully warm and inviting. The icing on the cake was a two man band that sounded very good and played acoustic music soft enough for us to have a conversation. The wine selection was very good and reasonable. We finished the night with an Irish coffee. All in all, it was very enjoyable.

We eat occasionally at Morgan's and have never been disappointed with the food. Service can be a bit slow, but it's not a hurry up and go type of place, so we know to allot enough time.
Try their lobster special on Tuesday night. Their crab dip appetizer is delish anytime.

We have had both good and less than stellar experiences at Morgans. Our group eats out once a week for lunch, and we have been to Morgan's at least 10 times over the last few years.
Our last visit was June 1st after my nephew's graduation. We had 9 people for lunch, and we ordered a variety of sandwiches off the menu. It took close to 1 full hour to get our food. In the interim, our iced tea glasses went unfilled, water was not replenished. And, the food was not stellar.
It's a convenient spot for us, and thankfully bans smoking (a true bonus). Because of these two factors, we will most likely return. But, if the food doesn't get consistent, we will have to find a new place to eat.

We have had uninspired meals here in the past, but gave them a 2nd chance and had a really pleasant meal.
We ate from the specials menu and hopefully these items will make it onto the main menu. Hickory smoked salmon was delicious, flounder and sea bass entrees were very good, and the raspberry bread pudding was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and the food arrived hot and fresh.
The only drawback, and the reason I gave it 3 stars rather than five stars, was that smoke from the bar was overwhelming in the non-smoking dining area. There really is very little in the way of a barrier between the 2 areas. We really smelt when we left.

to eveyone that doubt's morgan's LISTEN UP! All of our meats and seafood are top of the line products. As far as managment, we have new owners that used to own Calahan's which was also a great restraunt. If you want to have great food with your family in a upper scale atmosphere, i strongly suggest Morgan's American Grill.

Morgan's has excellent food. They do not serve dinner until 5. Their door is open before that time. We arrived at 4:55 and asked to be seated. The hostess was somwhat rude and informed us they did not open for dinner until 5.

I am sorry to say I have never had a decent meal or appetizer in this restaurant. The service was slow and unconcerned, the chef was sloppy, the quality of the food was inferior. I have only heard great things from others who have eaten here, but unfortunately, my family and I cannot attest to anything good about this eating establishment.
