an excellent dining experience. this is not a red-checkered-tablecloth place. leave the kids at home and come have a real meal!

We found this place while looking for a home in Mt. Airy. We are still looking and come from Wheaton to eat there 2-3 times a month. We love the food, the staff, and Chef Neil! There is something for everyone. I agree the gnocchi is great. Also try the Ravioli Arrogosta! YUM!The wine list is more than ample. Our favorite place! Save room for dessert! Best in town.

The food is fantastic! We have never been disappointed by the food or service. This is true both in the dining room as well as the bar. We often go to the bar and have either a meal or 2 or 3 appetizers. The wine selection is very good, the bartender is always very attentive. We live within 3 miles and you can't get any better this close to home. We will be there for Valentines Day!

Went there for the first time with good friends over the weekend. The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! We had pistachio encrusted shrimp as an appetizer and I had one of their many specials... Shrimp, jumbo lump crabmeat and lobster over fettuccine which I substituted linguini. Good sized portions - tons of seafood. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was their bread. It was plain and cold. I would have loved piping hot bread to dip in the olive oil and garlic they provided. Also, when thinking about desert, specifically Tiramisu - our friend indicated it wasn't the best... Hope Pane Vino is reading this so those 2 improvements are made;-) Although that won't stop me from coming back - already referred some friends:-)

The perfect place to go sans children! Finally, couples and friends have a place to go that's quiet, charming, and forces parents to leave the little tykes at home.
Try the Pavorotti salad; I swear by it.

Fantastic! The food is terrific; make sure to get the spinach as a side dish- the best spinach dish I have ever eaten. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it if you want a great meal in a cozy environment. The service is excellent as well.

We have been many times and travel from Silver Spring. We are hoping to soon be residents of Mt. Airy and found the place by accident. We have gotten to know most of the wait staff whom are very friendly and knowledgeable about the foods. Never been unhappy. Food awesome. The wine selection is wonderful. Many of our favorites. The chef is great about making whatever you may like. I don't know where he gets the pastries, but even if there is no room, we always get dessert. We are torn between wanting to tell everyone and keeping it our little secret.

This place is incredible! The seafood special which is delievered in a "boat" and is big enough to share is outstanding! I cannot even describe the red sauce it is made with other than perfect! We are glad to see the chef return to our area (we missed Scotto's in Westminster)

My family and I just love this restaurant!!! The food is always excellent and there is a wide selection of wine available. The chef always has a variety of specials and is willing to customize meals per your request. There isn't a specific kids menu, however, the chef made a special marinara meat sauce with spaghetti for my 3 year old ... not too spicy. Great atmosphere, too! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! This place is exceptional. I ordered one of the many specials of the night shrimp stuffed with crab meat over a bed of noodles with a creamy alfredo sauce. Yumm this was so good. The prices are very good for the food about 50 for 2 ppl with out drinks and deserts. The alcoholic drinks here are a little strong expecially the martini's. The wine list is filled with a variety of excellent wines. The waiter we had was absolutly great. He could speak great Italian and when we asked him how he remembered all the specials( there had to be like 20) he said hes worked very close with the cook. He made sure are experience was great. We had are infant with us and he even brought him some crackers to the table and bread for him. Very sweet. Also on the other side is a cozy bar atmosphere which we like to go over there when its just the friends. Their shrimp and chicken ceaser salad is also a great option. A side note I thought was very cute in the bathrooms the music they play is Lessons on how to speak italian. Overall one of favorite place to go in Mt. Airy for a romantic dinner and just a night out for something light and drinks!

My family and I really like this restaurant. It doesn't have much for young children, but the menu is great for adults. Definitely a date restaurant or dinner with a friend. The service staff is professional and the food is very good. I recommend the lobster bisque or gnocci. I have never had a poor experience here.
