Great food - extremely impressed with flavors as well as the cooking ability of the chef. Our little girls love orange chicken - we expected the generic orangey sauce you can get at every chinese place, right? - not here. The sauce was infused with real orange peels and tasted so fresh and like REAL food - I couldn't get enough of it! As for the house fried rice, my husband and I were amazed at the shrimp. They are so easily overcooked, but here they were done to perfection. A bite of the Crispy Eggplant didn't wow me, until I put it over the white rice and drizzled the sauce on it - terrific!
Great for families - friendly and attentive service. Reminded me of long-ago days of pre-buffet chinese where you're served crispy noodles and every table has soy sauce, extremely hot mustard, and a delicately sweet pink sauce as the standard. Can't wait to go again and try something more unusual from the menu!

Peking Gourmet is our choice for Chinese Food in Frederick. The food is fresh and savory, the service attentive, and the ambience relaxing. After reading "The Last Chinese Chef" by Nicole Mones, my mouth watered for a good Chinese dinner so we selected Peking Gourmet for Valentines Day. The shrimp toast was both crusty and tasty. The Peking Duck was perfectly prepared -- succulent duck and crispy skin. Satisfied after such treats, we "carried out" the lamb and vegetables we had ordered for enjoyment at a tasty meal at home.

Best chinese in Frederick! We had a hard time finding a good place for chinese food when we moved here, and now that we've found Peking Gourmet, we won't go anywhere else! Food is always fresh, service is always friendly and delivery is always great... top that off with great prices and you have a perfect package!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Peking Gourmet. We used to dine here at least once a week but we moved to Ohio and we miss it so much. When we return to
Frederick once or twice a year to see family, we choose Peking Gourmet more than once in a three day weekend.

Best Asian Dining in Frederick. Wonderful service, fast delivery, friendly owners and employees, and the food is excellent! China Garden is good, but honestly my wife and I think Peking Gourmet takes the crown.

I only order from 2 Chinese places this one and Chan Wok in Hagerstown, I have never been able to find Chinese food that I like except Chan Wok, then soemone turned me on to Peking, I would say in Frederick no chinese food is better. I think they must be related to the owner of Chan's because both of these restaurants are above average with food, service and quality. Both places even know who I am when I call, not sure if it is because I eat to much Chinese lol none the less I would defenately say eat here.

My family and I have dined at Peking Gourmet on multiple occasions. We have consistently received both excellent food and service at this restaurant. We have honestly enjoyed every dish that we have ordered. The staff has always been very friendly, accommodating of our children, and truly appreciative of us as customers. The décor may be a bit long in the tooth, however, the staff and food more than make up for it.

A family-run business at which they care about you and not just your money. They remember you and ask after guests who have previously accompanied you (especially my mother). I love the warm towels they give you after you have finished (after 3:00 only). I go every week.

This is really good Chinese. Everything I've tried has been fresh and very tasty. At lunch, even if you order one of the lunch combo specials, they bring the main dish out on a plate with rice in a separate bowl; presenting nicely and making sharing easy. The staff is delightful. Frederick residents are used to saying that China Garden is the only game in town -- no question this offers tough competition and the service is way faster!

I've been a Peking Gourmet customer and worked in the area for over 12 years. We typically dine in once a week and I often get carryout during the week. Over the years my family has tried many of their fine offerings and enjoyed them all. I don’t like to judge a place by a single menu item and at the Peking Gourmet, I’m never wary of trying something new. The staff make you feel like an honored guest whether dining in or taking out.

Literally the best eggrolls I have ever had. Service is fantastic. They remember me whenever I call. Even the delivery folks are nice and get the food deliverd while still piping hot.

I ordered take outs from Peking Gourmet more than six times and this is really really goooood! The food is delicious, the service excellent, and the delivery quick. I recommend this to all my friends.

This is a truly outstanding restaurant. I've eaten in many cities - SF, NY, Boston, Denver, Aspen, etc. This is by far the best so far! And the prices are astonishingly affordable (maybe even low). A gem in a class of its own.

We've ordered from Peking Gourmet since we moved to the Villages of Urbana. They have extremely fast service and courteous drivers. The food is very good! I recommend the Beef and Scallops Hunan Style.

Have dined here for years...quiet,comfortable place for a family or a date. No pretense...excellent service, very clean, food always fresh, hot, and nicely presented. A great value for the Frederick area. Try this place instead of a buffet...it's very relaxing.
