The cheesesteak was real good. Onions and Wiz were fine, but the roll was the best made the meal. Had the half size but for the price would do the whole cheesesteak next time. As far as atmosphere goes what would you expect from a cheesesteak joint?

My coworkers and I have been hanging out here for lunch every day this winter. The man at the register, Jack, is the nicest guy in town. He always has a smile on his face, and gives quick and friendly service. The cheesesteaks are great (I love the cheese whiz & fried onions) and the fries (skins still on!) are especially good. I love the atmosphere of the place. You can sit and watch TV and laugh with your friends, and just shoot the breeze. Fun!

Good stuff. I love eating downtown and this restaurant is not necessarily somewhere to take a client to . . . but the food is great and quick, and the atmosphere lends itself to a good, sit down lunch by yourself or with a friend . . . PS The cheesesteaks are authentic and fantastic.

The new one that opened on Rt 355 last week has the slowest service in Frederick. After ordering a plain cheesesteak at 11:30 AM it took 30 minutes to get the order. I suggest going there only if you are off work that day. The sandwich was good when it arrived.

great quality roll, sufficient amount of meat and good fries - atmosphere matches style of food perfectly- relaxed and casual - like in a friends basement apartment.

Good rolls but the greasiest cheesesteak I've ever had. Dining room couple use improvement. Disappointed but I'll give it another try.

The food flavor could be better, very unimpressed. Sorry, but chains make a better sandwich. ON THE OTHER HAND, the fries were worth walking in for! Still, they do not compare to Wags fries, only two blocks south. All in all, I would skip it if asked to go again.

The food was great. Needs more atmosphere, it was to quiet. Foutian soda would be better than can sodas. Would diffently dine there again.

I would give it an A+ for the concept of authentic Philly cheesesteaks with the proper rolls, but in practice, it was a pretty bland sandwich and skimpy on the meat. The fresh cut fries would have been great if they were hot and crispy but they seemed to have been sitting and/or overcooked. I'm going to give them another chance for their hoagies, but I'm thinking that Frederick simply doesn't offer a viable cheesesteak. Also, points off for being slow to process the orders, although the service was certainly friendly.
