This place is a typical asian strip mall atmosphere eatery. The food was average at best. Many items are pre orderedf rom the asian food supplier so they actually arent made fresh in house. Upon using the restroom I found a mouse trap behind the toilet and a roach ant trap behind the sink. This was enough to make my somache churn. Our server was haveing a bad day and you could hear her arguing with others. Another turn off is the yelling in the foreign language. Just because you think we may not know what you are saying doesnt mean its ok to yell and argue. Its annoying actually.

I have been to this restaurant several times, because my office is close by. I have been trying very hard to keep giving this restaurant a chance, but I have decided it is not worth my time anymore. I am shocked there are any good reviews of this place! Every time I have been to this restaurant, the service has been extremely slow, and the food, mediocre at best. Oh, and they just raised the prices because of "new management". The Pad Thai that I ordered for lunch had no sauce on it, so it was very dry. The noodles were a weird texture and sticking together. The time before that, I was dining in, and I waited for an hour for my Pad Thai to come to my table. Also, the restaurant is small and lacks a good atmosphere. As soon as you open the door, you are smack dab in front of a table with people sitting there.

The best coconut soup ever. Outstanding meals.
    Great prices. AND very caring/considerate
service. They came to our table seeking any
input we might have as customers. Then they
gave us a complimentary dessert. Very lovely
evening. GO THERE! I know I'll return.

We just moved from Chicago where the Vietnamese food on Argyle Street is amazing, and we were extremely disappointed. The food tasted like a mix of Chinese and Thai food.

I either picked the wrong day or the wrong dish if anyone likes this place. I love Thai food, particularly Pad Thai and was incredibly disappointed with My Thai's version. To me it quite honestly tasted as though there was something like Crystal, RedHot, or Tabasco in it. Now I know these are 3 very different flavors, but hopfully they convey that the spice was way off from any Thai flavor I have ever had. It also had very little peanut flavor within the dish itself. I have had better pad thai from a Chinese carryout place than this. They are not near Frederick but Bangkok Delight in Columbia and Benjarong in Rockville serve very good dishes.

I go to MyThai every chance I get for their yellow chicken curry. It is beyond delicious. Their authentic food is fabulous, try the sweet, milky iced tea and coffees, something that you don't always find. Also, I highly recommend their vegetable dumplings, which are light, fresh, and perfect for an appetizer. I have tried many different dishes on their menu, and have yet to be disappointed by any of them. The staff is friendly, and the food can be as spicy as you want, or as little spicy as possible. I was told by one of the members of the wait staff that if the "Mother" is there, spicy/hot is SUPER hot, and other times it seems to vary. Overall, I LOVE MyThai, and recommend it highly.

This is the best Thai restaurant in Frederick. I have been to Thai restaurants in several major US cities, and this one is as good as any of them for quality of food. The menu has all the standard Thai restaurant choices, plus a few. The quality of ingredients and flavor is outstanding. We are very lucky to have this restaurant in Frederick.

I have been dining at MyThai for more than two years now. We like the food and the ambiance. Lately, the service has turned from bad to worse. I will now share two of my horror stories with the service.

My friend ordered a dish without egg and the dish had egg in it. When we asked the server (the blond American), she was not only unapologetic, but insisted that the substance was 'not' egg, while she does not know what it is. The rest of us in the group concluded that there was egg in it. She was extremely rude with the reply and mannerism. She is not letting us finish what we are saying by interrupting repeatedly.

When we went today, our food came after 45 minutes wait. Unfortunately, we had the same server. When we pointed that people in four other tables ordered and got food before us, she said "do you want the food or not?". We didn't want to make a fuss, so we had our food and when she came back, we pointed to her that it was very rude of her to ask if we wanted the food or not after making us wait 45 mins and again, she interrupts us saying "you listen to me...".

After these two incidents, My Thai has lost my business and my friends' business.

The food is top notch, fresh, hot and very tasty. We love the staff and the owner takes the time to stop by your table to make sure you are happy with your meal. A very nice touch that is uncommon these days. Sam has a really great restaurant and cares about his customers.

Excellent food, fresh and served to the variations in taste. Service with the smile and always willing to offer suggestions. Their dessert "Mango with Sticky Rice" is out of this world. If they go public, I'm buying their IPO ;-)

Had lunch there with friends on Wednesday,25 July, 2007. Excellent offerings, Tasty, with the right amount of spices and vegetables - although that could be too hot for folks accustomed to bland. Pad Thai, very tasty. The spicy items on the menu really are. The fresh Won Ton wraps with veggies and shrimp are excellent. The chicken, mushroom, onion and noodle soup was very good. Served hot, not lukewarm, like some places provide.
Overall experience, very good. Definitely a treat.

Adorable little Thai restaurant that grows all of their own herbs. I have eaten here many times and the service was a bit slow with servers providing other than what I would desire from a Thai restaurant. The food is very good. The Panang Curry was a little watered down. I ordered it HOT and SPICY the way I like it. It was very good but fell short on the hot and spicy meter.

Big Fan of Thai food. BUT NOT from My Thai! been there a few times and tried many dishes. nothing compared to other Thai places in the Frederick, Montgomery area. Dinner portions are smaller then most places as well and they charge the same price. not happy with my thai at all! sorry...

The food has been consistently fresh and delicious!!! The waitress was so knowledgable about the ingredients and the style of every entree. They were also extremely accomodating to my children who have peanut and dairy allergies.

On top of its long list of excellent Thai dishes served there, My Thai also excels at Vietnamese Pho and Gardens rolls, 2 Vietnamese specialties!!...better than at other Vietnamese restaurants in Frederick.

My Thai is better than some Thai restaurants located in Rockville. We come here regularly. Service is friendly and fast. Everything is clean as well!!

It's pretty decent, but I'm a thai food nut and have eaten at many, many thai restaurants. I tried the Ka Pow Beef. A lot of veggies, but the sauce was good. Pad Thai was also very good as was the Tom Yum (soup).
