The pho was excellent, and my wife enjoyed the shrimp. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Even carried some Vietnamese beer selection.
Minus one star for not having fresh soy sauce- those who were with me tonight know what I'm talking about...

Once a month stapel for me. This place never disappoints!

Great food and GREAT PHO! Awesome service and I like that the waiters remember me and talk small talk with me... makes me feel very welcome. :)

We are a regular there. My husband loves the grilled beef wrapped in grape leaves. I love their crispy spring roll and pho. I also recommend their Beef stew..so good..and flavorful. Always a good reward after a hard day's work. And of course, nice and friendly staff (thanks Chris)

I eat here allot with my friends. The food is very good. Its usually packed with happy eaters. I recommend going at off hours between 2-4 to get a seat. The food is consistently very good. The wait staff are a bit slow and may need a polite signal from you to let them know you need something. Thats not a criticism. They are very nice and watching them, you can see they are very busy and trying very hard to keep everybody happy.
The owner is genuinely interested in overall customer happiness and can be found at the tables making friendly conversation with the regulars (they have allot). This is not a fancy restaurant. It is clean. Casual attire will do. The place can get very clouded very fast. If your skiddish about eating elbow to elbow with strangers then just return at an off hour and you should be fine.

Outstanding! Good food at good price. Ask your server for suggestion if it's your first time.

The very best of Vietnamese cuisine available anywhere. Best? Viet's Aroma Seafood. That's world class, and the price is a steal. Everyday choice, lemon grass beef with vermicelli. Sweet wait staff, lovely place. Specialty nobody knows about: curry beef.

Viet's Aroma has become my favorite restaurant in the year since I have discovered it. My girlfriend and I eat here whenever we can for the Pho. The Beef grape leaves are a great appetizer as well and I also love the strong and sweet ice coffee. If you've never tried pho just make sure you can handle an addiction because thats what you'll get after your first bowl.

I used to go to Lucky Coner for Vietnamse food. Now, I just find a better place in Frederick- Viet's Aroma. The foods have more flavors. I fell in love with their Caramel Fish combined with Hot and Sour Soup. It's one of the waiter's suggestion. I brought couple friends there for dinner and they all happy. Their dinning set-up is a little differen then Lucky Coner because they are smaller. But who cares? I come here for the foods, NOT the dinning room :)

The pho soup is the best in this area. I love this place!

I finally tried this place last summer and I think my girlfriend and I have been there almost every week since then. Pho is easily my favorite meal now. It never dissapoints and it is essentially created by you to your specific taste. My girlfriend loads up on plum sauce while I load up more on the sriracha. Great friendly service. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone that hasn't tried it before. Just be warned that you will be coming back once you try it.

We just moved to this area couple months ago and have been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant. After couple tries of restaurants in Germantown, Gaithersburg and Frederick, we found Viet's Aroma to be our favorite of all. Lovely foods and friendly service!

Great foods, nice atmosphere, and great view. Strongly recommend this place!

Best Vietnamese place in Frederick! We enjoy every minute of it. I recomended to many of my friends, they all agreed this is a "must try" place. If it's your first time, don't be shy to ask for suggestion from the server.

I went for the first time this weekend. Absolutely wonderful. The service is fabulous and the food better. I highly recommend it.

My family eats here all the time! Great Pho, spring rolls, cafe su da (iced coffee). If you are not going for the soup, you need to try the Aroma shrip (it is a black pepper/carmalized sauce) YUMMY!

I've been going here as much as 3 times a week since I discovered how much I like Pho. I always want to try something else but the Pho is so consistently amazing that I don't know if I ever will. Beef in grape leaf appetizer is very good as well.

Great food!

Delicious! My recommendations are Viet's Aroma Shrimp/Chicken with very tasty caramel scauce, served with steamed rice. Noodle soup and Iced milk espresso coffee are also must-tries.

Formerly the Pho Cafe, this place serves up some wonderful Vietnamese cuisine. Of course, I'm not Vietnamese, nor have I been there, so I don't know what "authentic" necessarily is. But regardless, you can't get good Pho at the local McDonald's, and this stuff is great. I get the Spring Rolls as well and I come out stuffed and happy. Relatively cheap too! The owners certainly aren't cordial by American standards, but I'm not there for chat, I'm there to eat!

Great food, reasonable price. I have stopped going to Lucky Corner since finding Viet's Aroma. Both food and price are much better here. A must try!

Very Good Pho Tai. Vietnamese Spring Roll was a bit on the fishy side. Not quite to my liking however my wife said it was her favorite. I have dined here many times and never been disappointed.

Great food! Great Price! Great People! Love everthing.

Chef Le is the new owner with his daughter Thuy and her husband Linn. He used to be the chef for Taste of Saigon, one of the highest rated restaurants in the D.C. area. Brand new item on the menu, ginger ice cream, wow! Service may be slow once in a while because they're packed, but the wait is always worth it, and they are working very hard! Hidden secret? Hot and sour fish soup. And what do they eat most often? I see them eating Beef Stew Noodle soup frequently, and I agree. Spicy, and best thing on the menu.

Like so many people that try Pho, I became hooked on it. I moved to Frederick recently and breathed a sigh of relief when I tasted the Pho at Viet's Aroma - now I'm a regular.
NOTE: Using just the street address can make this place a bit hard to find. It's actually in the same shopping plaza with a Weiss grocery. Use the map link at the top of this page.

We just came back to the restaurant after 2 weeks break. The foods are great as usual. The temperature was too hot for soup at the moment. I had Viet's Aroma Chicken and my wife had the Vietnames Steak with salad. It was wonderful!! Beside good food, they did a great job on decoration. Everything changed- The tables, chairs, decoration, even the celling. They have much better interior now. Cozy! Outside tables are perfect for this season. Great view!

Have only eaten vietnamese 1 time and it was very very good. Their desserts are awesome as well. Would work on the service a bit and the decor of the restuarant is not inviting so you would never know that they have GREAT food!

The Pho is outstanding. Since I have discovered this restaurant a few months ago, I have eatin there at least once a week. The food is served quickly and the staff is friendly. A must try.

love it! Great food, nice people.
Date: February 25, 2007
The new chef there cooks very good food! Yummy =) Everybody should go there and eat because she makes really good Vietnamese food.
Date: January 29, 2007
The food is just as good under the new management, but the service has gotten a little slower. The Thai Tea has changed just a little as well. I like the old version a little better. Still the best Pho in town.
Date: January 11, 2007
Great place to eat! Foods are delicious and people are friendly. I went there last Sunday, the place was packed. Well, it's worth to wait a for good foods. Frederick just have 2 Vietnamese restaurants so far (Lucky Corner and Viet's Aroma). Lucky Corner has good asmostphere; Viet's Aroma has great food. I Strongly recommend this place!

Food is great with very reasonable price. In addition to Pho, good recommendations are: Pepper Shrimp with delicious sauce and salad , Viet's Aroma Chicken with sauce and salad, and Bo Lac (small pieces of steak served with salad and Maggi Seasoning Sauce).

My family and I went there for Pho (Vietnamese noodles soup) couple months ago, and we found that the management just changed- It used to be Pho shop named Pho Cafe. Viet's Aroma is a small restaurant, but the food is extremely good with a very reasonable price. Since it extended the menu, I can eat there everyday. You will be supprised with other dishes. I love their Vietnamese Steak which can be cooked your way. The Viet's Aroma shrimp or chicken are outstanding. Their Vermicelli dishes are so fresh and light which are perfect for my diet. Oh, don't forget their appetizer page. I tried all the appetizers and they are great. I strongly recommend this place. It seem to be the best Vietnamese Food in town.
