  I was introduced to Vietnamese food in Vietnam during the war and then in Thailand. We lived in DC for a long time and ate at many Vietnam restaurants. In DC Four Sisters is the best. However, Viet Gourmet compares favorably with most of the rest.
  We had Pho, chicken with lemongrass and Hanoi beef.

  The only thing I have had here that I didn't like was the mango sticky rice special. They add food coloring to their sticky rice, so that was green and the mango wasn't ripe enough. The pepper scallops are fantastic, as is the orange chicken and fried rice. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. Sodas are expensive though, you get a can for $1.50 with no refill.

  We thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. The service is prompt and friendly and the food delicious. Recommended.

  They advertized crab in the dish (Pho)...instead I got imitation crab, and a poor imitation, too. I felt gyped (esp. since the Pho was more expensive because of the seafood in it). The offered an apology, but no compensation

  Great value for the money! Eat in or carry out. Delicious food, many choices. Have eaten there and have gotten take-out many times. Have never been disappointed!

  This place is great. The Pho is the best in Frederick. It is definitely the best Vietnamese Place in Frederick.

  been several times, never been disappointed. the food is good (dumplings and lemongrass chili chicken were delicous) and service is great.

  The food was excellent. Highly recommend the soups! You get alot of food for reasonable price. The order of fried rice is enough for 2 people and also very good.

  I have eaten here 2x for lunch and both times it was excellent. Freshly prepared and very tasty. I will go back again.

  The food is delicious but, as with many new restaurants, they are still ironing out some services issues. Sometimes service is slow, sometime you get something different from what you ordered. On the plus side, everything I've eaten, ordered or not, has been great!
